Arthur J. Holly.  Chief Investment Officer and Managing Member.  Art Holly is the Chief Investment Officer and a co-founder of 199 Capital Management LLC. Mr. Holly developed the firm's models and is responsible for the firm’s investment management processes.  Prior to launching 199 Capital Management, Mr. Holly was a Portfolio Manager at Teza Technologies where he was responsible for managing the Teza Hedged Equity Program, a quantitative equity long short hedge fund. Prior to joining Teza, Mr. Holly was the CIO and founder of Breacher Capital, a quantitative equity long short hedge fund, where he managed both commingled funds and SMAs. Prior to launching Breacher Capital, Mr. Holly was Partner and CIO of Persimmon Capital Management, a Multi-Family Office where he was responsible for the entire investment and risk platform along with founding Blue Wave Global Investors, LP, a quantitative equity long short hedge fund. Prior to joining Persimmon in 2014, Mr. Holly was the Head of Investment Solutions, North America, for Man Group, plc, a $160 billion asset management firm specializing in alternative investment strategies. His other roles at Man Group included Head of Portfolio Management, North America, and he was a member of the Global Asset Allocation and the Global Product and Portfolio Boards.  Prior to Man he was the Director of the Hedge Fund Development Group for Merrill Lynch where his team managed $25 billion in hedge fund and related assets.  Mr. Holly previously managed his own long/short equity strategy at Athena Securities and lead the Event Driven Desk for Banc of America Securities and was a proprietary trader for T.C. Management Partners and Union Bank of Switzerland.  Mr. Holly is a graduate of Villanova University with a Finance degree and a minor in Computer Science.



Andrew J. Kalt.  CFO.  Andrew Kalt handles non-investment and finance operations for 199 Capital Management LLC and serves as the firm's CFO. Mr. Kalt is an investor, operator, securities attorney, and capital markets professional with extensive experience structuring, consulting to, and investing in hedge funds and other alternative investment firms. As an attorney with the Investment Law Group of Davis Gillett Mottern & Sims LLC, where he has practiced law since 2010, Mr. Kalt has assisted in the launch and ongoing operations of myriad hedge funds and alternative investment vehicles. As Managing Principal of Rockstreet Investments LLC since 2021, Mr. Kalt has been involved in the strategic and marketing operations of several institutional quality investment funds, functioning as a consultant and placement agent. Mr. Kalt was previously a registered representative of Aspect Partners, a boutique placement agent for hedge fund strategies, from 2008 to 2009.  Mr. Kalt graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University in 2006 with a BBA in Finance and International Business. He received JD and MBA degrees from Emory University School of Law and Goizueta Business School in 2010 and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for outstanding academic achievement.



Brent S. Gillett.  CCO and Director of Corporate Development.  Brent Gillett is Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Corporate Development for 199 Capital Management LLC. Mr. Gillett is responsible for the firm’s compliance infrastructure and leads strategic business development, partnerships, and opportunities. Mr. Gillett has been involved in the legal and business sides of the investment management industry since 1995.  He began his career as an equity analyst at Marquis Capital, a private investment fund, and then joined Kilpatrick Townsend, where he was a member of the firm’s investment management practice group. In 2001, Mr. Gillett founded the Investment Law Group (ILG), where he provides legal representation to a wide variety of private investment funds and alternative asset managers. ILG has been ranked among the top global law firms for hedge fund formation.  From 2007 – 2009, Mr. Gillett owned and operated Aspect Partners, a broker-dealer focused on raising capital for alternative investment firms. In 2015, he co-founded Simcore, a software company that he later sold to a large healthcare institution. He received his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
